KCCI Welcomes New Board of Directors
Members elected the 2026–2028 Board at the Annual General Meeting, returning Taneti Baraniko as Board Chair.
The Chamber’s membership has elected a new Board of Directors for the 2026–2028 term at the Annual General Meeting held in Betio.
Taneti Baraniko was returned as Board Chair, with Ruta Tekanene elected Deputy Chair. The ten-member board brings together representatives from fisheries, tourism, construction, retail, transport, agriculture and financial services.
The new board’s priorities include the national trade policy consultation, expansion of member training services and stronger outer-island representation.
