Women in Business Mentorship Programme Graduates First Cohort
Eighteen women entrepreneurs completed the six-month mentorship programme, with a second cohort opening later this year.
Eighteen women entrepreneurs graduated from the Chamber’s inaugural Women in Business Mentorship Programme at a ceremony in Betio this week.
Over six months, participants were paired with experienced business mentors and completed workshops on financial management, pricing, digital marketing and accessing finance. Graduates run businesses ranging from handicraft exports to catering, retail and tourism services.
Applications for the second cohort will open later in 2026. The programme is delivered with the support of development partners and the Director for Women in Business, Arawaia Ioane.
